This is Hosup Kan, The 13th President of the Korean Society of Fashion Business.
I feel more pride and responsibility than words could describe to be appointed the president of The Korean Society of Fashion Business.
Since 1996, The Korean Society of Fashion Business is a national society that lunched by industry and academia with purpose to develop Korean fashion industry, globalization and human resource development. The Korean Society of Fashion Business has been publishing journals registered by National Research Foundation of Korea, also it has been selected as excellent society in academic journals by Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies.
Based on my precious experience as the former president of The Korea & China Association of Fashion Industry-Academy and the former president of The Korea Fashion & Culture Association, I will be playing an important role to promise development of the society and fruitful scholarly activity by taking good care of publishing academic journals, symposiums, international exhibitions, textile awards and also relevant academic societies. Lastly, I sincerely hope The Korean Society of Fashion Business will become a future fashion platform where fashion industry and academy bring mutual growth, and I will do my best to emerge as a future-oriented global society focused on industry-academic cooperation.
