홍영호 (중앙대학교 교수, 농학박사)

홍영호 교수는 현재 중앙대학교 생명과학대학 생명자원공학부 동물생명공학 전공 교수로 재직 중이며, 주요 관심분야는 동물의 질병관련 면역관련 유전자 제어 시스템 분석, 항균 펩타이드 개발을 통한 항생제 대체재 개발 그리고 분자유전 기법을 활용한 항병성 관련 바이오 마커 개발 등에 관심을 갖고 연구를 진행하고 있다. 2016년부터 한국가금학회 편집위원장으로 활동하고 있다 .

Dr. Yeong Ho Hong is currently a Professor at the Department of Animals Science & Technology, School of Bioresource and Bioscience, Chung-Ang University in Republic of Korea. A major area of interest is the analysis of disease-related immune-related gene control systems in animals, development of antimicrobial peptides as an alternative antibiotics and disease resistant molecular biomarkers in poultry as well as other animal species. Prof. Hong has been the Editor-in-Chief of the Korean Journal of Poultry Science since the year of 2016.
