OBJECTIVES

The objectives of the Society are as follows.

To promote the study and application of OR/MS.

To disseminate knowledge through the publication of research results and informal exchange of information.

To contribute to the advancement of the fields of OR and MS, as well as system analysis, cybernetics, and related disciplines.

The Society has grown remarkably over the past 30 years. As of May 2012 the society comprises 3,419 individual members, 19 special members, 12 group members, and 144 library members
