The Korean Society of Fashion Business
Guideline for Authors

01. All authors of a manuscript submitted to the Journal of Fashion Business must be members of The Korean Society of Fashion Business.

02. The submitted manuscript must be original and not published elsewhere. In addition, the submitted manuscript should not be under consideration, under peer review, or accepted for publication at any other journal.

03. All submitted manuscripts must abide by the ¡°Research Ethics Code¡± of the Korean Society of Fashion Business.

04. The copyright of the manuscripts will be transferred to the Korean Society of Fashion Business.

05. All manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system at The Korean Society of Fashion Business website (http://www.fashionfabi.co.kr). The submission fee is 100,000 KRW, and it must be wired to the following account: Editorial Office of The Korean Society of Fashion Business (Depositor?The Korean Society of Fashion Business)

06. All manuscripts must be typed using Hangul (HWP) or MS Word and must be converted into PDF files for submission. Do not include any names or affiliations of authors or acknowledgements in the submitted manuscript. The submitted manuscript must not exceed 25 pages (size A4), including all figures and tables. All manuscripts must abide by the following editing style and format.

07. Submitted manuscripts must be written in Korean or English. Those submitted manuscripts written in Korean must indicate the title and keywords in both Korean and English, and the abstract, table and figure captions, and references must be written in English. Those papers written in English must be written only in English.

08. All persons who have a reasonable claim to authorship must be named in the manuscript as co-authors; the name of the first author must be at the top, followed by co?authors in the descending order of their contribution to the manuscript. Corresponding authors must be indicated with the symbol ¡°(+),¡± and the contact number must be indicated.

09. If the submitted manuscript is a part of the author¡¯s thesis or dissertation, it should be specified in a footnote on the first page of the manuscript with the following: ¡°This work is a part of a master¡¯s thesis¡± or ¡°This work is a part of a doctoral dissertation.¡± The degree holder must be listed as the first author of the manuscript.

10. The abstract should be less than 250 words in English¡ªincluding the purpose, method, and results of the study¡ªand must offer the general gist of the entire paper. No quotations, images, figures, or tables are allowed in the abstract.

11. A maximum of five keywords should be suggested in both English and Korean (in parentheses) be low the abstract. If the manuscript is written in English, list the keywords in English only. Use lowercase letters for keywords except proper nouns. [Example] ¡°Keywords: body type (üÇü), fashion (À¯Çà), Gabrielle Chanel (°¡ºê¸®¿¤ »þ³Ú),internet shopping (ÀÎÅÍ³Ý ¼îÇÎ)¡±

12. Authors must adhere to the International System of Units (SI).

13. The first letter of each word (except prepositions) of the title of a table or figure must be capitalized (e.g., Summary of Experimental Designs). Table titles (e.g., Table 1) must be placed at the top left side, while figure titles (e.g., Figure 1) must be centered below figures. The tables and figures must be correctly inserted in their respective positions of the manuscript. When authors refer to a table (e.g., Table 1) or figure (e.g., Figure 1), they must identity it as ¡°Table 1¡± or ¡°Figure 1¡± in English. [Example] According to Table 1, Chanel released a little black dress and ¡¦ in 1926 (Figure 1, 2).

14. The images (or photos) included in the manuscript must be, in principle, submitted in color. However, when they are published in the journal, images (or photos) are printed in black and white. If authors want to publish images (or photos) in color, there will be an additional KRW100,000 charge per page.

15. Please provide the highest quality image format possible. Please be sure that all imported scanned material is scanned at the appropriate resolution: 300 dpi for photos and 600 dpi for line art of graphs. All images (or photos) must be in .EPS or .TIF format. Color photos can also be submitted in .JPEG format. When contributors quote any table, figure or photo from the copyrighted literatures, they must identify the source of information and specify whether prior permission was obtained.

16. It is recommended to use as few footnotes as possible and to use them only when necessary. If it is necessary to use a footnote, authors must add a serial footnote number as a superscript to the right side of the concerned word or phrase and describe the content at the bottom of that page.

17. The reference list must be written in English in alphabetical order. All entries included in the reference list must be cited in the main body of the manuscript.

18. The reference list must be written in accordance with the ¡°Journal of Fashion Business guidelines for reference and citation.¡± For information not specified in the ¡°Journal of Fashion Business guidelines for bibliography and citation,¡± refer to the most recent version of the APA style manual (Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association).

19. Accepted manuscripts should be submitted in HWP or MS Word format with the names and affiliations of all authors and the contact information of the corresponding author in both English and Korean. The proofreading of the accepted manuscript is the authors¡¯ responsibility, and no revision or addition is allowed during the proofreading process. However, if the manuscript editors request revisions or ask for confirmation, the authors must send a reply to the manuscript editors within two weeks. If the reply is delayed, the publication can be postponed. The authors are fully responsible for any errors published.

20. All parts of the manuscript published in English (e.g., title, abstract, tables, and figures) must be proofread by professional native?speaking editors, and the subsequent proofreading costs must be paid by the authors of the manuscript. The publication fee and author¡¯s copy fee will be charged to the authors as follows:
- Publication fee: 200,000 KRW for up to 10 pages and 20,000 KRW/page for additional pages
- Author¡¯s copy fee (20 copies): 20,000 KRW
